William Duhr is the son of William Hugo and Annie Mary (Kent) Duhr, born 15 August 1921 and brother to Ethel and Daphne.

William took ill on 12 November with Meningitis, was flown to Cairns and admitted to No.5 Australian Camp Hospital, but died 17 November 1943.

Flying Officer William Gordon Lloyd Duhr’s name is on the Brisbane Roll of Honour board  and also located at panel 103 in the Commemorative Area at the Australian War Memorial.
