Drop-In Genealogy Clinics
The Society is open on both the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of each month.
Drop-In Genealogy Clinics will be held on the second Saturday of each month from 1:00pm – 4:00pm. Drop-In Clinics are free to members and newcomers to call in and meet us, see our resources, and get some help making a start researching your family history or breaking down a brickwall.
On alternate months there will also be Drop-In DNA Clinics held in another room at the same time as the Drop-In Genealogy Clinics. Come along to learn how DNA testing can help your genealogical research – including finding biological relatives, confirming or disproving relationships and estimating your ancient ethnic ancestry.
Refer to our Calendar of Events for dates and times.
Beginners or experienced researchers – we look forward to meeting you!
UPCOMING CHANGE: At our new Gatton St location we no longer have a separate meeting room for DNA events, so from December 2017 we will be scheduling all our DNA events on the 1st Saturday of each month, when our family history centre is not open. That gives us the whole area to use for DNA, including all laptops and computers, and we will also be able to schedule DNA workshops. Attendees are welcome to bring along their own laptops or tablets.
