Edna Florence Marjason was born on the 7 November 1916 in Cairns to George Mitchell and Clara (Eccleston) Greig and was their only child. She enlisted on 13 May 1943, her height was 5 feet 4½ inches, with dark brown hair, green eyes and clear complexion.
Edna was killed in a vehicle accident on the Cook Highway, her next of kin was her husband Lieutenant Frank Joseph Charles Marjason QX34016. They were married in 1938.
Edna Florence Marjason’s name is on Cairns Roll of Honour board and also located at panel 9A in the Commemorative Area at the Australian War Memorial.
