Need help starting to search your family tree? Need help with a brick-wall?
Cairns & District Family History Society is holding family history Drop-In Genealogy Clinics commencing Saturday 24th January, 2015 (free to newcomers!).
Our Drop-In Genealogy Clinics are a fantastic way to get one-on-one assistance for your family history needs. It doesn’t matter if you are a beginner or a more advanced family history researcher, we are there to help.
I am one of the experienced volunteer CDFHS members who will be there on the day to assist you. From my own 30 years researching my family tree, I’ve come across many a brick-wall in my research. UGH!
Sometimes it only needs someone else to look at your problem with an open mind or to suggest a new research strategy to move forward.
For the beginner, you are forewarned, Family History can be an addictive pastime.
Sometimes it can be frustrating and at other times it is so rewarding you could cry for joy.
But it is always exciting.
We are looking forward to assisting you with your family history needs whether you are right at the beginning of your journey, or helping you with your research problems.
We would love to see you on Saturday 24th January, between 1:00pm and 4:00pm.
We are a friendly group, we laugh a lot, and the Drop-In Genealogy Clinics are a fantastic way to meet people with the same interests.
